Shopping

As many of you may know Thaddeus and I love to go shopping the day after Thanksgiving. We woke up early Thanksgiving morning and went out in search of a newspaper to check out the ads. Since we were not in the market for anything in particular we decided to do something a little different this year. Normally we scan the sales and then get up really early the day after Thanksgiving. This year we heard that the outlet mall (about 30 minutes away) was having a sale starting at midnight. So instead of waking up at 4 am or so we instead went to the outlet sales at midnight and then went home and slept in. Let me tell you I love Banana Republic. Normally, as many of you may know, I am way to frugal to justify spending big money on things but I went in there and not only was it a outlet store so things were cheaper but then I went to their clearance area in the back which was cheap and then for the sale (which was midnight to 8 am) everything in the store was 40% off. IT WAS AWESOME. I got quite a few things at a magnificent deal. They are pictured below. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

Kind of hard to see all my great deals. I got 7 pairs of dress pants/capris/shorts. 4 sweaters, 2 shirts, and a tanktop. LOVE IT!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We had a nice Thanksgiving. We went over to our friend's house and had some great food and a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures. This is Emma, Thaddeus, and Grace. Thaddeus and Olivia.

Not much new going on here. Thaddeus and I are busy as usual. We have packed up one room so far and are starting to pack little things here and there. We are now officially one month away from the move. Can you believe it? Thaddeus and I are still in shock at how fast the time has flown by. I have given my notice at work and officially have 18 days of work left. YEAHHH. I have really enjoyed my job at NKA, PLLP but I am definitely ready for something new and we are excited to get back to Utah. Please pray as Thaddeus and I both search for jobs. As of yet the weather has held out but please also pray for continued good weather. Minnesota has yet to get any snow accumulation (just sprinkes here and there). We are hoping that this will continue until after we are off the road and safe in Utah.

Go GOPHERS!!

Thaddeus has a girl in one of his classes that plays for the women's b-ball team. She put us on the list so we were able to go to the game this afternoon for free. It was a lot of fun and they won. GO LADY GOPHERS!!!!

Hartley

This past weekend Thaddeus and I went down to Hartley, Iowa to see my grandparents and family. The following pictures are in no real particular order. Below is the Ethanol Plant. Can you believe it Hartley, a town so small is getting an entire Ethanol plant built in it. They were very excited when they chose Hartley and it is quite a large operation going on. My cousin Paul shot this deer with a bow. He was very excited. As you can tell this is after they strung it up and cleaned it out.
Some old pics of my dad. Bonus points if you can find my dad.
More pics of my dad when he was little.
And one more.
The famous Hartley watertower. There are even hearts on the two sides of it. hehe
My uncle Rod's new house.
Beautiful kitchen.

Big room in basement. Can you believe it? No one is really sure where it came from but there is a peacock that hangs out down the street from my grandparents house. RANDOM.
