Halloween Party

Some of our decorations. I made ghost cupcakes, they rocked!!
I was a Packer fan if you cant tell.

I got a new wall decoration for above my couch. It is metal art. I love it. This is my wine rack. I was trying to explain it to Aunt Linda but I thought a picture would be a better explanation.

Women of faith

Last weekend Mel and I were able to go to the Women of Faith Conference it was a lot of fun. It was nice to get together and learn and worship with all these women.

OFFICIAL Minnesota Residents

I have to say that in the eyes of the University of Minnesota we are now Official Minnesota Residents therefore meaning: IN-STATE TUITION, yippee. We just found out yesterday that we got in-state status for tuition. We will get a refund from this semester and then from now on out will only be charged in state tuition. This was a big relief for Thaddeus and I.

Another great praise that occurred yesterday is Thaddeus picked up a part-time research assistant job to a professor at the law school. I think he will feel good working and making some money. :)

Paige

My cousin Beth (shown below) I love you Beth, dont kill me for showing this picture, hehe! We all thought she seemed a bit big (in the baby sense). She was not due until November 19th, but Paige decided to come early. This picture was actually taken the same day as her water broke. Paige was then born on October 17, 2006 at 12:30 am (appr.) She weighs 6lbs. 7.2 ounces and is 20 inches long (another tall girl for the family). She is a cutie!

JFK-Dallas

While in Texas we stopped off in Dallas to see the spot where JFK was shot. It was interesting. We saw the building, the two places where he was shot and the infamous "grassy knoll". Not the top right window but one window down is where he was shot at from. That entire floor is now a museum. Plaque outside the building saying this was the former sight of the Texas School Book Depository but that it became famous for being the building where JFK was shot from.
A little out of order but this is a picture as we drove into Dallas.

This would be the infamous "grassy knoll"-where the conspiracy theorist like to say there was a second shooter. The X here represents where he was shot the sceond time.
The x directly in front is the second shot and if you look up the road to the left was the first shot.(to the right of where those two people are walking). Further up the road where you see the tree in the left of the picture to the left of the tree ( not in the picture) is the building he was shot at from.
