Pine Tree Apple Orchard

My friend Amy is in town so we went with her and her family to the apple orchard. Amy is looking great, especially for the fact she is carrying twins around. Here are her five nieces below. Here are some of the things we got at the orchard. Applesauce, apple doughnuts, and apple butter. While we were there we tried some of their apple pie with cinnamon ice cream and it was delicious.
Nate and Kim and the five girls.
View of the lake from the orchard.
We took a hayride (minus the hay) through the orchard. It was a lot of fun to see Amy and hang out with her family. It turned out to be such a nice day for it too.

Moving up in the world.

I moved to a new office on Friday. It has a window view on the 46th floor. This is the view from the door. That is my desk. (my desk is actually going to extend into a u-shape but it is not all put together yet) This is a view from my chair. If I am sitting in my chair and I look to my left, this is what I see. I prefer to look out like this as opposed to down (kind of scary).
This is a view over the top of my computer. You can see a few lakes and south Minneapolis.
This is a view to the left and middle. That is 35 W S. I can see all the traffic.

I have to say I am quite impressed with myself. I finished my first counted cross stitch tonight. I have started a few in the past but this if the first finished product. I am quite happy with it. I now have new projects to work on, yeah!!!!

Hello everybody.

Life in Minnesota has been good. I have been busy at work and Thaddeus is busy finishing up his final semester. He is very excited that he is 11 weeks away from being done. He just sent in all of his stuff for the bar application, which he will take in February. He had an interview last week for a job with the IRS that he is really excited about. We are praying that is where God wants us but we are just waiting and seeing. He will hopefully hear back from them in the next few weeks. I know a lot of people have been asking why the IRS? It is funny but he is actually really excited at the possibility of the job. He would be working with small businesses and they even have an office in Salt Lake. So please be praying for that.

Out weather has been turning colder (although not snowing yet, like in Utah). We have been in the high 60's, low 70s, which I am perfectly fine with. I am hoping the cold holds off for as long as possible. We have been getting a lot of rain but I am glad no snow yet to speak of.

I would love to hear from all of you how things are going. Shoot me an email at wendt@nka.com .
